Priyanka Chopra’s absence at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar raised eyebrows, especially since she is known to be a regular at Ambani family events. However, her mother, Madhu Chopra, attended the festivities and spoke about Priyanka’s absence.
Madhu Chopra expressed her long-standing desire to visit Jamnagar and thanked Anant and Radhika for making it possible. She mentioned, “I have been wanting to come to Jamnagar. In fact, I spoke to Anant many years ago about it. It’s become true now. I am really looking forward to it (the pre-wedding bash).” When asked about Priyanka’s absence, Madhu agreed that Priyanka was indeed missing but did not disclose the reason, simply stating, “She will make up for it, don’t worry.”
Previously, both Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas had flown in from the USA to attend the opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai. Priyanka even performed with Ranveer Singh at the event, which also saw the presence of Hollywood celebrities such as Zendaya and Gigi Hadid.
Currently, Priyanka is enjoying downtime with her family, sharing multiple pictures and videos with her daughter Malti Marie Jonas. On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in projects like “Love Again” and the Prime Video series “Citadel.” She stars alongside Idris Elba and John Cena in her next Hollywood flick, “Heads of State.”
